Very similar to my parents who married in 1931. They did not have a white wedding either and to my eternal sadness, there are no photographs because there was dense fog! Mum told me you could not see a hand in front of your face. Mum went first and Dad was a broken man after that. She died just after their 51st anniversary but was in a coma on that day. I am sure they are celebrating in heaven.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1495861742496301663.post-86168569249690028682005-10-08T11:39:00.000-07:002005-10-08T11:39:00.000-07:00Your entry really made me sad, what lovely parents...Your entry really made me sad, what lovely parents you had...and what a lovely entry from you...may I say Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad as I am sure they are together and looking down on you...AllyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1495861742496301663.post-84306125453146584352005-10-09T13:26:00.000-07:002005-10-09T13:26:00.000-07:00What a lovely story - what lovely memories for you...What a lovely story - what lovely memories for you.

Thank you for sharing.
