I actually took a hint from my friend Jeannette in England and dug back into my Alaska cruise pictures for this one.  It really touched me that day, as we pulled away from their beautiful new dock in Hoonah...the remains of a very old dock...with moss and the beautiful Alaska state flower, fireweed, thriving out at the end of the old rotten timbers.  Linda

    Great entries!!  I want to go to Alaska so bad and play with my camera.  The second picture....there are just so many fun things about that one.   I had to giggle a little bit.  Thanks!

    Cool picture of the dock.  I love the fireweed growing there.  I had to view it large to truly appreciate it.
