My hanging baskets.........

...........have never been so beautiful. I was so thrilled when we got home to find 4 of my hanging baskets still in beautiful shape. Usually by this time every year they are dead or dying. These 2 are the ones I'm so happy about. I spent about 6 dollars for the flowers in both of these baskets last Spring. They were little tiny 1 inch pots and I never thought they'd amount to anything. Over the summer they did grow but there were days I thought they were going to die, especially if I went a day and forgot to water them.

Before we left on the road trip in September, I moved all my hanging baskets & pots down on the patio near the hose, so that if it was dry, my neighbor could water them and if it rained they'd get watered from above.

Barbara and I went to the movie today. We went to see "The Secret Lives of Bees." I know, I saw it a couple weeks ago but she didn't, so I didn't mind going again. Once again~it was agood movie.

That's all, I just wanted to share the phenomenon of having annual flowers still blooming the middle of November in western Washington. I also have several geraniums blooming. I hope this is a sign that we're going to have a warm winter.

I want to see that movie "Secret Life of Bees"; the book was good. Lots of good movies coming out; we saw "Eagle Eye" the other day and in watching the reviews, I kept thinking "oh that would be a good one to see"
