The birds that annually occupy my red, white and blue birdhouse come from military, I'm sure. I have lots of birdhouses and this one causes more problems than any of the others. It seems like every Spring there's a World War II type battle for occupancy. It's started already and we're still having cold temps, even snow here in western Washington. This one hangs on the center post of my carport and I enjoy watching them from my kitchen window.
I like the play between the stars and stripes and the theme of the house!
