Earthquake in Los Angeles

Just about 20 minutes before noon (Pacific Daylight Time) a 5.8 earthquake hit the Los Angeles area.  It was felt as far away as Las Vegas and San Diego.  They are reporting that there have been several aftershocks ranging as high as 3.8 on the Richter Scale.

At this time, there are no reports of severe damage but at this writing it's just about 20 mins since the quake hit.

All the times I've been to southern California, I've never been there during a quake.

But that's ok...I've experienced that scary sensation here in the Seattle/Tacoma several times.

More later..........Linda

Visit Kathy's Journal~she lives about 15 miles from the epicenter~
