Actually they are called "elongated" penny's but I just like saying the word "squish." LOL ! There are also machines for squishing dimes and quarters too but I've never seen them. If you're interested in locations of machines that squish penny's just check out the following web site. It even shows International locations.
The Penny Collector web site will show you all the machines they are aware of.
When we go somewhere, I refer to this list and have even printed them out for the states we have visited. I was really hoping there would be one at Whistler, BC but there wasn't. And since we didn't go clear into Vancouver, BC I wasn't able to get one there.
I remember at the amusement parks had a machine with a good luck charm that was round and you could print your gal's and your name one it

ReplyDeleteMy son started to collect those coins when he was small. He even has an album for them. But, around here they are only in amusement parks.
