A Beautiful Saturday

A beautiful blue sky, big white fluffy clouds and a very tall Douglas Fir tree......... Henderson Bay (part of Puget Sound) at Purdy, Washington
The Purdy Bridge, heading out to the end of the Key Peninsula & Bob's place.

The kids were having a blast, jumping into the water from the Purdy Bridge. This has been going on during high tide for many years. The kids in the boat were hollering "Jump." The high school in this area, is Peninsula High School ~ thus the graffiti on the bridge.

Bob's zucchini patch is really going to town. He has about a dozen plants and they have just began to produce. What are we going to do with all these zucchini?

  1. I love Puget Sound. So beautiful. When my oldest son & wife & daughter were up there, they'd go there a lot. Ashley loved the boat ride. I have the best photo of her at abt age 2 with her hair flying behind her & the biggest smile on her face! "Those were the days my friend." :) Rich is on vacation for 3 more weeks. I think we need to load up Tom & the girls & take them out to San Diego. I want to take them to Sea World. He is intent on just going to Vegas. I guess I can always get a wheelchair if the walking gets to be too much!! Anyway, great photos-as always. Hope you're having a great weekend.

  8. It looks like fun jumping off the bridge, I would have loved that as a child. The zucchini's could find a home in my salad, yummy.

  15. You have to use a whip and chair to tame the zucchini. Same with cucumber.
