I'm Happy To Announce.....

My son, Jim  and his girlfriend, Carrie just stopped by to tell me that THEY ARE ENGAGED !!!!  I am so happy !!! She is such a sweet girl and I was blessed to meet her mom, sisters and grandmother at Thanksgiving.  They are a delightful family and I know they will welcome Jim to their family as we will welcome Carrie to ours.  She was totally surprised when Jim popped the question and I think she was sort of in shock still when they were here, she did say  "I don't want a big huge wedding, just a simple celebration with family and close friends."  Then she decided she better go out tomorrow afternoon and buy a planner.   Both of them just started new jobs this last week and Carrie has two more years of school to get her CPA degree, so they will have a lot on their plate this next year.   This is a happy day .........Linda
