Well, today was a horrible day at work....very busy and I was by myself all day because everyone else  either had a day off or was sick.  Oh well ...it's over and now I'm off until next Monday.  But the worst part was that it was my birthday.  Why did I work on my birthday ??      Believe me, it won't happen again !! 

About 3pm, my friend Bob called me from the ski slopes and said he was heading back to town and did I want to go to the Red Lobster for dinner tonight ?  Silly question...of course I did.  So we had a nice dinner there.  I got several phone calls in the last few days from out of town friends, cards from cousins and friends, gifts and beautiful cards from both my kids and a couple co-workers.  And Bob gave me another gift card to my favorite store, Gottschalks.   My brother called my cell phone as I was driving home from work and asked me to lunch tomorrow.  I am thrilled...can you believe I've never gone to lunch with him.  I guess we both have busy lives and it's something that's never happened.  And a gal friend of mine is taking me to lunch Friday.  It's going to be a wonderful birthday.....even if I am now half of 128.  I've included a few pictures from my past. Sorry some of them are so small, I haven't figured out the scanner part of my new printer yet.  And of course I can't find the instruction book for the life of me.   Until next time......Linda
