Just a brief entry before I head out to work. The 80 degree weather is gone for awhile, followed by 60 degrees and rain. Last night there was quite a thunder storm, with a house just a few miles south of here being struck by lightning. They had a small fire but the local fire department soon had it out. They say we're 1 inch behind in our normal rainfall for May...so there's just 3 more days to make that up.

Linda the weather here is cold windy and bleak ~ could do with temps of 60 it would be nice to have a little warmth ~ we are getting plenty of rain at the moment ~ Must have been frightening for the people in the house that struck by lightening Happy Monday to you ~ Ally

Funny how that happens, huh? Sunny and hot and then, BOOM, thunder and lightening and rain! I have the patio door open anyway, as I enjoy the cool breeze and the sound of the rain...have a good day! Jae

I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOUr JOURNAL FOR QUITE A FEW DAYS NOW, AND SO THOUGHT I WOULD ADD YOU TO MY FAVOURITES.I SAID PRAYERS FOR THE FAMILY WHO HAD THE FIRE,AND I HOPE THEY ARE ALL WELL.HAVE A LOVELY SPRING BANK BREAK, AS WE SAY OVER HERE IN ENGLAND, AND I HOPE YOU GET A LITTLE TIME OFF WORK,YOU SEEM TO WORK SO HARD.GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS.MINE IS GOING TO BE A BUSY ONE OF TRIPS SAILING ON THE SEA,SANDCASTLES AND MERRY GO ROUNDS.MY DAUGHTER AND HER TWO YOUNGEST CHILDREN ARE COMING TO VISIT UNTIL TUESDAY.SO I SUPPOSE MY HANdS WILL BE FULL.LOL!!
