Hello there, well I've survived being back to work for two days, after a very short vacation. Two more to go and then I'm off for the weekend again. One month from today...that ship leaves the dock in Seattle with some of us old folks on it, sailing off to Alaska. The time has really flown, since I first planned this event last August.
I'm excited about another happening coming up September 8th, not only is it the first day of the Puyallup Fair but Bill Gaither and his group are coming to the Key Arena in Seattle. I got tickets the other day for myself and my friends that live in Oklahoma. They will be here visiting their son and family then and are excited to have an opportunity to go to this concert, too.
This is the last call for the postcard offer. I have a list of those you have emailed me and indicated that they would like a post card from Washington and I will mail those out this weekend. If there is anyone else out there who would like to receive a card, please email your mailing address to me before Friday morning.
It's cooled off a bit and the TV weather guy says we are going to get some rain starting Wednesday (we'll see). I hope so because I'm too tired to go out and water tonight. If it doesn't rain Wednesday, then I will water when I get home from work.
Well, I've got a sink full of dishes, so I guess I'll get off here and go get them washed and put away. Until next time, Linda

I can't believe it's almost August and time for your vacation to Alaska! I know you'll have a wonderful time with all your friends. I love that sign in the shop, we need one in our childrens hospital too! Glad you survived being back at work, it's a pain isn't it? Every vacation makes it harder to go back! Jeannette xx

Have a grand time on your Alaskan cruise. Sam and I sailed the Inside Passage on Royal Caribbean's Seranade of the Seas, September 2004. We planned ours a year in advance too, and boy time did just fly by!!! We went mid-month and it rained, a lot. You'll love it, we did and want to do it again...someday. I'm curious what the weather will be like and if August is a better time to go than September.
BTW, you are so right about having a Jeep, especially during the summer. It's a blast. :-D

LOL - I love the sign about unattended children. Very good! My husband I are are cruising to Alaska in August. It'll be our 2nd time there. What Cruise line are you using? Have any great excursions booked? It's a wonderful cruise - the scenery from the ship and the shore is awesome! Kathy

Sorry about the scare you got from your kitty's reaction to her shots. I ALWAYS ask them about side effects but usually get a 20 min ans from my Doc. I love him as a vet, but he's a little chatty. LOLOL Have a good one.
