Well this afternoon, I finally got my photo album (the Travel Agency gave each of us a very nice one that had our school name, etc on it) and scrap book (I used a 3-ring binder and lots of page protectors) finished from the pictures and stuff I collected on the cruise. I love to do that, when I take a memorable vacation because then I have those memories at my fingertips for years to come. And I save everything....will not sales receipts and such but I save a lot. And besides the pictures I take, I always buy postcards and they go in my album too. Sometimes, you just can't take a picture of everything. Anyway, it's ready for you to come look thru....I'll have cookies and tea on hand for all who show up. :)

Your trip was so beautiful I wish I could have went with you, I would have carried all your bags for you... lolol, I would have been a big help. I wish I could stop over and look at all the wonderful pictures while you told me everything and have tea... one good thing about J- land... you made us feel as if we were there... thanks for sharing hugs, Sherry
I just love taking these virtual vacations! I do the same thing with postcards cause you're right, you can't always capture every perfect picture!
Hey! I can read your journal without my glasses!! lol I wish I were more orgainized with my pics and stuff..but it's strowed all over, and some is never to be seen again, I'm sure. I know you'll enjoy that cruise many times over now.

(((((((((((((((((((((((LinDA))))))))))))))))))))))))))))Sounds like you had an AWSOME time.I am glad. You must take alot of trips.Whe ever I go some place,I always buy post cards.lol.I love post cards.Have a wodnerful night.Hope all is well and your feeling better.
Thanks for the cookie recipe, I'll have to give it a try. Also got a kick outa your innovative picture album from a 3-ring binder and page protectors. I've just finished two notebooks of over 100 pages each... pics on both side using those sheet protectors. I made ours from our recent 9-week trip across the USA and yes, I too added brochures and interesting things along with my photos. The hardest part was trying to decide which pictures to print and which to leave out... took over 850 pictures and all told a great story. Glad you enjoyed your cruise! Alaska is a beautiful place to visit. Lynn Shook
