I've thought about this all week and the one thing that coming to mind was my dad's Giant Print Bible. After he passed away it ended up with me. I do use it from time to time but can still see well enough to use my own. I love it because the cover and pages are worn from use. And I love to read the notes he wrote in the margins. He loved to read God's word and I find comfort when I hold this Bible in my hands and read the pages he once read. Linda

I have an old Bible I treasure, it belonged to my sister and has beautifully carved wooden covers. The pages are rather tattered but the wooden covers are so beautiful. Great entry for the hunt! Jeannette xx http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
What a great selection.

I would think that reading his thoughts would be the best part of that Bible. I'm sure you have some mixed emotions when reading through that, but I hope they are mostly positive. Great selection for the hunt!

That is so sweet that you have your fathers bible. That is so special that you know what he was thinking when he was reading a certain part. How close you must feel to him. Great entry. Thanks for sharing. I think I'll get back into the swing of things and do the next hunt.
Take care, Chrissie

Came your way by Krissy. I can easily understand how this Bible would be valuable to you especially with your father's notes in it. Very moving indeed.
