Please follow the link to this very important request for mail, cards and specific items requested by some of our men and women serving in the military this holiday season. Thanks to Elizabeth for posting this very important entry. I plan on emailing this list to people in my address book, that aren't necessarily journalers.
Here's the link to Elizabeth's entry; http://journals.aol.com/bethjunebug/Bethjunebug/entries/2006/11/28/attention-jland-friends/766

I got the list a couple yrs ago, it hadn't been updated since 11/03. Has it been updated recently? Has anyone checked it out?

Thanks for sharing the link. I read all of your entries and am SO glad you made it to work and back safely. I wish your son would stay home too. LOL Men...the worst patients in the world. We have a n "artic front" coming in tomorrow. Snow likely tomorrow night. But they talk like we won't get much. The worst of it is supposed to be north and east of here. Take care and be careful the next time you have to get out in this.
Hugs, Barb
Thanks for the link, I know lists like this go out often. As a mom to two sailors I often hear about other sailors who get NO mail from family or friends. It's like they are completely forgotten or alone. It breaks my heart.
