How can she breathe ?
I was sitting at the card table working on my cards and I looked behind me and saw Gabi laying on her blanket, sound asleep with her face down on the blanket. With her little smooched in Persian face she snores at night. So, I was amazed that with her face clear down on the blanket like that, that she could even breathe. She didn't even flinch when I took the picture.

My oldest cat lays like that in my arms, with her face stuck in the bend. I've wondered the same thing about how they can breathe, but the snoring indicates that some air is getting in. It is a very cute picture.

If I hadn't seen the ears I wouldn't have thought that was the front end or your kitty with her face down like that. Fun photograph.

I have a persian that sleeps like that too. and does she also make odd sounds, like chirps when she is happy or scared?
