I had to do one more entry tonight. My son-in-law came by with a gift bag and cards for me. First was a gift card from "The Outback" .......yum, yum. And in the gift bag I found a darling little clothes pin doll and quilt top pillow, all hand made by my grand daughter. The pillow is all sewn by hand and she's done a beautiful job. At age 14 1/2...she's perfecting the lost art of hand sewing. And of course the clothes pin doll is handmade( except the clothes pin of course). These two items are very special and I will treasure them forever.
Thank you...Meghanne....I love them !

They're beautifully made Linda, I know they'll be treasured by you. It's nice to see kids can still do the things we used to do! Jeannette xx

That's lovely, Linda :-)
Beautiful doll. My sister and I used to make Victorian Penny Dolls to sell. We used a wooden mug peg with pieces of doweling for arms and legs. My favourite one was the Amish one we made. We sold lots. Your grand-daughter is on to a really good thing! Busy hands stay out of trouble. At least that was my theory when my own kids were growing up! You have a grand-daughter to be proud of!
