They keep talking about it but I haven't seen any as yet. It needs to stay in the mountains where it belongs. This whole area is built on hills of all heights...you can't go anywhere without having to go up or down a hill. Please Mr Weatherman...keep the snow in the mountains where people expect it. As for the wind..there's not much more that can blow down here at my house, except that big 80 foot cedar tree in my front yard.
" Dear Linda, |
We have pockets of snowfall this morning after some parts of western Washington dropped below freezing overnight. Don't be surprised if you see a mix of rain and snow where you are before we warm up to the low to mid 40s. We will keep the showers around all day. Another soggy system is moving on shore as we speak and will bring gusty winds by the end of the day. The highest gusts could reach 40 mph.
The weekend is looking rainy and breezy. Take the slicker with you down to Qwest Field for the Hawks game. Highs this weekend will hit the mid 40s with heavy rain at times.
Monday we get a break from the rain with just a few showers and even some sunbreaks. Midweek cool are drops in our area giving us another brush with a chance of snow. We'll keep you updated.
Updated Friday 5:50 a.m. more... |

I heard that word again, too. Yesterday as we were leaving for Bo's driving test, it started hailing, and I though for sure he was going to have to take his test in the snow...but, nothing came of the hail...Jae
Linda I hope the "S" stays in the MOUNTAINS ~ I hope that 80ft. Cedar tree stays where it is upright and in your yard ~ stay safe ~ Ally~
No chance of the S word here yey ,thankgoodness ,I agree let it stay in the mountains,Ihope the tree stays put ...loove Jan xx
Another snowfront bound for the States? Oh dear.
I LOVE the "S" word! WE hardly every get any where I live...and a small dusting practically brings the whole country to a standstill! How I miss it, AND everything that goes along with it...like shovelling, cleaning off the car, winter driving...wait, let me amend that....I ALMOST miss it! :-)

That sounds like some serious snow Linda, I hope it misses your home AND that cedar tree in your front yard. Take care and keep warm. :o)
Love Sandra xxxx
Brrrr. Hope the weathermen are wrong about your "S". It is pretty to look at but not to drive in it. I feel very fortunate to be retired and not "have" to go out in bad weather, but I feel bad for those who do. Praying for that 80-foot cedar tree to stay put. Nancy
I'll be happy to take the snow from you. We are raining and 66 degrees here. I'm tired of spring and summer.
Greg
I'm hoping the snow will give you a miss Linda! It looks pretty on the mountains but not so good for getting around in! Have a good weekend! Jeannette xx http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/
I talked to my cousin in Denver a few minutes ago and she's looking out at falling snow again. I can't imagine how it must feel to have that beautiful white stuff falling and have not control over where it lands and what to do to get rid of it once it does. Happy belated birthday! I am so glad you had a nice one! I love the little doll your granddaughter made. It's adorable and so very thoughtful of her to MAKE a gift for you. I'm very impressed. I will pray that the weather will go around you and that the sun will be shining on your sweet head soon.
Hugs, Kathy
Better'n the other "s" word, don't you think? lol Hang in there, Spring's coming!!
