Here's the last on my pictures from the cruise. These pictures were the ones taken by the ship's photographers. Picture #6, I took one day when we went up on deck and it was a little rough. The water in the swimming pool was really sloshing back & forth. It only lasted a few hours and then all was calm again. The only thing I have left is a video from "Italian Night" when the waiters all sang to us. That video is in that little video camcorder thingy that I won from AOL UnCut Videos. I still haven't had a chance to figure out how to unload that video, so until I do...it will stay in the camcorder.
I had a great day today. My friend (and yours) Joni, drove down and we went to lunch and shopping for her "mother of the groom" dress. She found a couple really cute outfits at Gottschalks, settling on one. She emailed me after she got home and said her husband really liked it...so I think she's good to go. Those affairs are always stressful for the mom's......you don't want to out-shine the bride and you don't want to look like a bridesmaid either, while the dad's can put on a tux and call it good. So Joni, now you've got to put that outfit on, have Floyd take your picture and post it in your journal.
Bob took off this morning to Sekiu with some of his retired plumber buddies, for a fishing derby. Last year he did well with both salmon and halibut. So hopefully the fish will be biting and he'll get his limit. They will fishing all weekend, unless of course they all limit out. (If you go to the Sekiu web site, you'll hear the ocean waves)
In looking around at web sites, I found a great one for Mt. St. Helens. Right now, it's very clear and sunny and you'll get a good view of the mountain.
Guido mentioned it today in his journal...are you noticing how the days are getting shorter? I have...I woke up this morning about 5:45am and it was barely light out. I used to hate getting up in the dark and going to work during the winter months...oh it will be so nice not having to deal with that again.
Well folks...I'm going to go out and get the back lawn mowed. The dandelions are getting tall again. LOL
So until next time..........Linda

Wow, I never thought about the pool water sloshing about...that is cool! I love the pics the photographers took, you and Bob look so nice...and that moose is cute too! :)
Sad to see the last of the pics...now the cruise is coming to an end for all your readers too! Luckily I have a little Alaskan Angel to keep me company. :)
Those are really nice pictures, Linda. I will post a picture, but I need to get some shoes first. Thanks again, Joni
I enjoyed these extra pics...and I would have never imagined white caps in the swimming pool... lol even tho it IS on a ship!
Oh Linda, I didn't realise there were more pictures to come! They're lovely but Bob looks a little apprehensive in the first one! I don't know why, but I was surprised to read about waves in the swimming pool too, I just wouldn't have expected them!! Glad you and Joni had a good day yesterday and it was good to hear she found a dress, with your help! Love, Pat http://journals.aol.co.uk/pm71blackfen/ramblings-from-pat/
Sounds a busy day! Lovely pictures. I, too, had thought you'd shared them all with us, so it was nice to have this extra little bonus to enjoy! You both look so happy!

Nice pics, Linda. Curious to see whitecaps in the on-board swimmingpool when the sea around the ship is rough as well :-)
I love the pictures with the moose & the eagle. I can't believe you had whitecaps in the pool, it surely would have been hard to swim that day! LOL I've noticed my mornings are darker as well. I hate when it is dark in the morning too.
