Sadly my original plans for today, fell thru......so I went to plan "B."
The "Bee Movie" that is. I went by myself, sat in the very back row and was happy they turned the sound way up so I could hear above all the kids. It is a darling movie but for any child under about 8 years old, it's too long and some of the previews of upcoming movies were a little scary for the little ones. I could not believe people had kids there that were like 1 and 2 years old. They were crying and screaming....and finally the parents had to get up and walk out. There was even some humor in it that only adults would catch. As cute as it was, I still am wary of bees. I know we need them in our world but I'm not going to make friends with them. It's kind of how I felt after watching "Charlotte's Web." Cute, but I'm not making friends with spiders either!
I'm in the process of getting the new handles on my kitchen cupboards. I still have about 10 to change so I guess I'll go get busy.........Until next time, Linda
P.S. again, don't forget the time change tonight.

I can't believe people would take such young children to see a movie either but I'm afraid people have no respect for others nowadays. That's why I'm sitting here at 5am on a Sunday morning reading journals because someone very close by decided it was a great time to let off very loud fireworks. I'm glad you enjoyed it despite the kids there! Have a good Sunday! Jeannette xx http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels
We went and saw Stardust the other night. Now THAT was an excellent film. The Bee Movie isn't here yet, but somehow I don't think I shall be going to that one. It just doesn't seem to interest me like most children's movies do... probably the "bee" aspect of it. I hate stinging insects! (although I do LOVE honey!)

Sorry your plans fell through, and sounds like the movie was a little hectic. Glad you're getting the handle on your cupboards, you have been really busy in your house lately. It will be nice for you this winter. Joni
Oh I was wondering how this movie was going to "Bee". *Ok, a poor stab at humor *. I am not a big fan of bees either, I know they have their place & are important for many reason but I choose they do this far away from me. ;)
