Christmas Favorites

 Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends. Okay.............Here’s what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!!   Just copy this into your journal and leave the link in my "Comments" section so I can see your answers.   Linda

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Both

2. Real tree or Artificial?   Artificial, left decorated all year, put away in my storage shed, wrapped in plastic, ready to bring in the house and plug in each year.

3. When do you put up the tree? right after Thanksgiving

4. When do you take the tree down?  Not until after my birthday.

 

5. Do you like eggnog?  the "light" eggnog diluted with 1% milk or a little in cocoa is ok.

 

7. Do you have a nativity scene?   Yes, several of them

8. Hardest person to buy for?  my grandson

9. Easiest to buy for?  my grand daughter and little great nephew & nieces

10 Mail or email Christmas cards?   Mail & email

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?  Can think of none

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?  Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer (did you know that Bumbles bounce?)

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?   January, for the following Christmas

 

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?  It's called "re-gifting" & is perfectly acceptable so yes.  Just remember to put a note on it, indicating who you got it from, so you don't give it back to that person.

15. Favorite things to eat at Christmas?   I love it all

 

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree?  colored on my tree & clear on the outside of the house

 

17. Favorite Christmas song?  "Mary Did You Know?"

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?  if I travel, it's just here locally

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers?   Yes

20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?  usually Christmas morning but that changes too, depending on the circumstances

21. Most annoying thing about this time of year?  Nothing...because I stay away from the Mall

22. Favorite ornament theme or color?  a good old fashioned looking Christmas tree

 23. Favorite for Christmas dinner?   Turkey~but this year I'm doing something different

24. What do you want for Christmas this year?   Hopefully my daughter & family will be able to join us this year.
