If you had to be one of the following, for 8 hours a day, during the week before Christmas, which would you choose? You cannot say none of these. Please choose one of the following employments to earn extra cash before Christmas:
Santa in a department store (kids sit on your lap)
elf who leads the children up to Santa
gift wrapper
cashier in the busiest part of the department store
Salvation Army bell ringer outside of a snowy store
Ok, first of all I totally believe in the Salvation Army, I was helped by them many years ago and I know others who have also been at the receiving end of their help. I donate to them on a regular basis........but no longer could I stand to be out in the freezing cold.....standing there ring a bell. Physically I couldn't do it.
But.....I could be an Elf who leads the little kiddies up to Santa's knee. That's what I'd have to choose...Santa's Elf.

I think I'd like to be the bell ringer. It would do my heart good to see so many people giving a bit to a good cause.

I think I would have to pick the gift wrapper, I like wrapping presents although I may get sick of it for that long lol

I would like to be Santa because I love seeing the look of magic and wonder on Children's faces.

If I took away my bad health and was able to tolerate an 8 hr. day for a week, I would definitely be a Santa, already have white hair and I would love to see the faces of the little chidren as they tell of their wishes.
The Salvation Army is a worthwhile cause, our company supports them as well as each of us personally. Doug & I used to do the "Adopt a family" program through them each Christmas ~ they've stopped doing that though.
