..........harvest that is. With all our cool, damp weather....nothing is doing well except the rhubarb.
these were very teeny tiny starts when I first got them.
my tomatoes are really pathetic...not enough warm rays to make them grow, let alone turn red
But I do have flowers (can't eat flowers you say~no but they're good for the soul)
lavender
Fragrant Cloud
deep purple rhododendron
Calla Lily
several different flowers in this pot on the patio
geraniums & alyssum
So there you have it. I may not get a bountiful harvest of bright red tomatoes like Robin down there in Florida but I got flowers !!
By the way....Happy First Day of Summer to everyone ! I hope we get some here in the Pacific Northwest however, it's up over 70* here at just after 12 noon today. But tomorrow it could be snowing........

LOL! You scared me for a minute...I had to think fast...what did I show????? LOL...thank goodness it was just my tomatoes, I don't know if JLand could handle us showing boobies or something. :)
What lovely pictures! I have not grown anything this year but like you, the weather has been pour so nothing would have done well. You have made me fancy so Rhubard now, have not had it in years. Yes, I agree on the flowers, they are so good for us.

Our Garden is not doing to well either. We only have a couple tomatoes on our tomatoe plants, it has been to cold for the bees to be out and about much, at least I haven't seen them, several blooms on the tomatoes died with out being polinized so I hope it's the weather not the normal lack of bees. It is nice now so maybe we'll get something from the garden after all. I would love to have some rhubarb plants. Hope to find some next spring.
Have a great week end.

Great photo's Linda. It's probably a little bit early for your tomato's based on your weather up there. Hang in there. They look plenty healty.

I was looking at someone's tomatoes online and I was wishing mine looked half as good. I've got what you got. Hopefully they grow!

I just got out tomatoes in, so I do not have any growing yet. We have a very long growing season so I am thinking about planting some more stuff. However it has to be stuff that that does not require a lot of water because I do live in souther California and we don't have a lot of water! LOL

Happy First Day of Summer...
we will be in the 100's this weekend, aren't we lucky...
Linda :)
70 degrees sounds so GOOD! It's been over 100 here for days. Getting hotter before it gets cooler. I'm not liking summer so far.
Hugs, Kathy
Hard to believe that yesterday was the first day of summer wasn't it! The seasons all seem to be a bit cocked up these days! Lovely flowers Linda and I am hoping that you get some sunny and warm days soon so that your other plants can start to grow, thrive and ripen as well!
Love,

Damn, every time there's an instance of "I'll show you mine," nobody calls me. Okay then, I guess I'll just put my trenchcoat away and wait.

I love your flowers. My flowers grew pretty good too. Of course they are run over by weeds because I have been laid up the last few days. I dont think many people on the North east coast did well gardening either. My mom's tomatoes didnt come out very good. You did a very good job gardening. .....love, Christine
love the rose and lily...
are they cherry tomatoes???
Sharon
Our first batch of tomatoe plants are almost finished what with the heat coming on full strength. My sister in Vancouver is complaining too that her garden is taking a beating because of the weather up there..not enough sun. Wish I could send some to you all...love, Sandi
love the cala lilys
Your flowers are gorgeous, I love the Calla Lily. My tomatoes are a bit anemic ~ I don't know what the problem is this year. :(
Lisa
