We had quite an air show overhead today. There's an official air show here at McChord Aor Force Base this weekend and today the guys from McChord and other locations were out practicing their maneuvers. The fighter jets were so low...so noisy...it was kind of scary. Gabi was freaking out and so were all the dogs in the area. I was out in the yard trying to get pictures but they came in swooping so low and fast all I could do was duck! LOL!
One of the Thunderbirds went low over my house sideways...I could see the pilot's head in the canopy. Yikes !
Anyway my darling grandson was out in their yard watching the whole thing and took this picture.
He's going with his dad to the "REAL" air show this weekend.
My son works just a few blocks from the end of the runway, they watched the practice today from the roof of their building. I'll be in that parking lot Saturday..........

We live right in the pathway of the jets when they take off from MacDill and we also get to see the shuttle's com trail when it takes off from the other side of Florida...the sonic booms are something. I can see where your grandbaby would be thrilled....have fun going...love, Sandi

We used to have the Red Arrows come over Brighton every year to do displays, they're the RAF's show team. It can be very noisy but exciting to watch. Have a good time on Saturday! Jeannette xx
