Gabi Taking A Bath
In looking thru some videos this afternoon, I came across this one. For those of you who are fairly new to my journal, this is my girl. Rescued off the streets of Seattle, fostered by a lady that was an acquaintance of a co-worker of mine....Gabi came to live with me on October 4, 2005. Weighing less than 5 pounds, she's a furry little bundle of love. She's strictly an indoor cat and spends her day sleeping and grooming herself. At night, she sleeps on a baby blanket at the end of my bed.
It's obvious she was someone's house cat. She made herself right at home when I first got her and she always wants her face washed after she eats. Something that owners of Persians & Exotics always do.
She looks like a Persian but her breed is actually called an Exotic Shorthair. She does not have long hair like most Persian cats.
Her name; Gabi~in Hebrew it means "God is my strength."
I wish she could tell me her story....I truly believe God was her strength when she was out there on the streets of Seattle.

I watched the whole video. What a cutie Patootie. I even watched some of your other videos. Good to hear your voice. Marlene
She's a real cutie pie. She seems quite content just doing her thing.

I think I've told you before...I want Gabi. What a sweetheart. I love her look. I may have to look for one like her when I'm ready for another cat.
Hugs, Joyce
What a special story your Gabi has. I am glad you have each other now and that God watched over her when she was on the streets.

I just love Gabi! I wonder how she got to be on the streets...wonder if someone is missing her?? Glad she has a good home with you!
Linda, not what I expected. I can't believe I watch a cat lick herself for more than two minutes.
I was expecting to see you trying to bath her in a tub, Bill
She is just adorable with her poofy sweet face. :) Such a happy ending for her. I know she is quite content. Hugs, Kelly
Gabi you are so cute and now all squeaky clean....

It's so hard to imagine the little sweetie surviving on the streets, she is just so small!! What a precious little darling she is and so tidy about herself!!
