When I opened the front door to get the morning paper, my eyes lit up at the sight of the Ikea 2009 catalog. (Yes, here in my area it comes with the local newspaper) Maybe, it will be my reading material for tonight.
Meanwhile I'm off to the store to pick up some Bumble Bee Albacore (on sale for $1 a can) and some Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce (on sale for 79¢ a can) and then it's back home to really dig in and get stuff together for the big sale coming this weekend. And the temperature is supposed to skyrocket to 87* today, so this afternoon it will be hot in here. Tomorrow is Book Club so I need to be ready to "set up" on Thursday. Meanwhile you may enjoy the cover of my new Ikea catalog.....

Lucky you, it is gloomy, raining and chilly over here and in August! I am the same when it comes to catalogues, I love browsing through them and oh the things I would buy if I had the money!

I just saw a commercial yesterday...funny...this woman was sitting on her couch reading the IKEA catalog while the the kids, husband and dog ran wild, lol, all the while she was oblivious! LOL. I wish it was only 87 here. Pushing 97 now...heat index is terrible too. Kelly
I just love a good sale. I have what we call an overflow shelf in my garage. This is where everything goes when I have stocked up! LOL

We don't have an Ikea here yet...but I heard they were building one not too far away. It's a cool store.

It was only 97 degrees here today, but yesterday, Saturday and Sunday it was 102 - 105, and 107 in Dallas. But that is summer in Texas. Love it or leave it, and I'm still here. lol All the best for your sale!!

I love IKEA, too. My daughter and her fiance are buying a lot of things there. Cute furnishings for reasonable prices!
