It's another 90* plus day here in Pasadena. I'm really longing for the 50* and drizzle of the Pacific Northwest. Bob is doing a few things on his daughter's "Honey Do" list and says we'll head out Monday. Her husband is a hard worker & provides well for the family, but he's not handy around the house, so Hope is always glad when dad comes to visit. I've had to call my doctor at home and ask for another antibiotic for this crud I'm fighting. I have a Rx from the doctor I saw here last Monday, but my insurance won't pay for it here unless it's written by my primary care giver. So hopefully, she'll agree to call it in at the Target here in Pasadena and I can get it filled this evening. Other than that nothing much is new. Oh, yes Bob is feeling much better. He's actually doing better than I am right now.
I want to thank that dear sweet Robin over in Tampa for helping me out with this migration business yesterday. I made so many attempts to transfer my journal that were unsuccessful and then when it finally did work, I couldn't get it to "publish." But Robin came to my rescue...clear across the country. Isn't that amazing? So thank you again Robin, you were a life saver (actually maybe Bob's life saver). I would have wanted to get home really fast had that transfer business not worked. This way, I won't be beating him on the head everyday to drive faster.
Well, that's all for now folks....I may or may not write again before we head out. But you can count on hearing from me once I'm sitting in front of my own computer. Linda

glad to have you at blogger
I'm so happy you got everything moved. I was so worried you would not make the deadline of transfer. Now you can rest easy and know that everything will be where it needs to be for you when you get home. Hope you feel better soon. I mean really do they have to be so damn picky about the meds as long as it came from a doctor should it really matter.
Take care, Chrissie
Sorry you are still not feeling 100%. Monday can not come soon enough for you to start your trip home. For the rest of us, may it not come to fast :o)
have a safe trip home!!

I was drove past your neighborhood the other day and thought about you - specifically I was wondering if you were feeling better.
Got my first Avon order without a parking lot exchange. :-)
Have a safe drive home, we had beautiful weather today. I wore short sleeves and NO sweater! Amazing, huh?!?! You'll like what's moving in now, cloudy skies and some drizzle. Yep, can't live here without that!

That's one of the good things of vacation, appreciating home....
I wasn't gonna worry about migrating my journal, but I thought what the heck, but no go, I've tried about seven times over the last week or so, at first it just kept failing and now just freezes and after several hours of that I just close it... wasting too much of computer time....
Hope you are better soon!!!

Have a safe trip home! I am happy I found you here!
be well...
Hi Linda, You don`t want to be ill while you`re travelling so I hope the next look of antibiotics do the trick. I`m glad Bob is feeling better and I hope you too will be the same. It`s good that your journal is transferred over at last, now you can forget about it. Even though mine is transferred over I doubt I`ll bother with it again. take care. :o)
Love Sandra xxxx
Got your Oct 21 email. These blogs are a little fussy, but you'll get it figured out once your back home.

Glad you got it transfered. It is so stressful to think about losing all the archives. Enjoy the visit. You will soon be freezing and soaked to the bone!
