And the thermometer out there is reading 28*. As you can see there's just a whisper of snow here, other areas north of Seattle really got dumped on. And the mountain passes are a mess. The weather guys on the TV are saying it's going to be cold like this for the next 5-7 days.
I put my two hanging baskets in the shed yesterday morning, I'm not sure I'll be able to save them, but I thought I'd try.
I guess summer is over.

One more week and it is winter!
Winter does not officially start for seven days :o)
It's about 50° here! How weird is that?
We are bitterly cold here and if it was snowing slightly more would be in a total blizzard. Good day to stay home and read. By the way, I loved your eating tips, LOL.
That isn't what I wanted to hear! One of our heating systems (pellet stove) is broken - it's the only heat source for the room where I have the computer and work on photographs. It's COLD in here - I think Sonny said it was 59 in this room. The base board heat is on in the front of the house, and it doesn't do a thing for anything past the kitchen. ::sigh::

It is cold here too, we didn't get much snow either, the wind sure is cold though.
We got the christmas tree etc up yesterday. I have a little more to do but doubt it gets done today as it will require more energy than I have right now. LOL. It is going to be a lay around day.

We got down to 37F last night. We never got above 54F today. That's cold for this part of the world!

Isn't it pretty though? Not the 28 degrees but the whisper of snow.
Hugs, Joyce
