The Community Photo Challenge this week is ~ Ornaments. This challenge is open until December 18th at 9pm EST. Marie is going to be making a collage of all the entries submitted. So here's my entry~an ornament given to me by my daughter and son in law Christmas 1989. Hand made by them and cherished by me. My little Christmas tree is just to my left as I sit at my computer and that ornament is right there where I can always see it.

Homemade - hand made ornaments are my favorite. They did a beautiful job with that.
I see you got a new header taken and I bet you took it the other day.
Stay warm!

Very pretty. I use to make all my ornaments back when. I really need to do that again to pass to the kids. Great idea for something to keep me busy through 2009.
Take care, Chrissie

Morning LInda, Yes anything that people make for you are just that more special. Unfortunately I am "craft challenged" and so anything friends or family receive is always from the store.
I have tried to do stuff but never goes anywhere. My daughters are very good at it so somewhere in my family it must come from
Just trying to co-ordinate excursions for trip...so many choices but can add up.
Got all transportation covered by ONE company. A bit more expensive be we do NOT have to worry about anything.
Have a blessed day my friend.

The ornament is lovely and so very sentimental. No wonder you cherish it so much.
Very nice :)
Linda, since I'm the cross stitcher in the family, no one gives me lovely little ornaments like that one (except myself...LOL). What a wonderful memory attached to that one. Thank you for sharing it.
