~she came to live with me October 4, 2005. They said she was about 2 years old so this is the day I declared was her birthday. No one really knew her background other than that she was rescued from the streets of Seattle, in August 2005. When found she was matted, flea infested and starving. Fostered by a lady who raises Exotic Shorthair cats, she was deemed healthy and ready to become a member of a loving family by the end of September of 2005. That’s when I first saw this picture and feel in love with this precious little girl. 
For about 3 ½ years she brought me so much joy, she loved me unconditionally and I loved her little 5 pound sweet self back.
Sadly on March 12, 2009 she suffered complete renal failure and went over the Rainbow Bridge. I think of her daily and still miss her presence around the house, especially at night when she would snuggle up to me.
Happy 6th Birthday, little Gabi Lin……I love and miss you.

I know only too well the pain that follows the death of an animal, which was a close member of the family. I realise how special Gabi was for you, and you did the right thing by her by allowing her to cross the Rainbow Bridge to prevent her suffering any longer.
Awwwww sitting here with tears in my eyes. I miss her too, miss her pictures, her sweet stories, etc...what a special kitty she was.

Awww Linda, I am crying with you. I felt as though I knew sweet Gabi and I loved her too. I am so happy to know her years with you were filled with lots of love, attention and Fancy Feast! I know she loved you and is waiting patiently to be reunited with you again. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl Gabi from Lisa & her gang.

Awww special wishes for Gabi in the Garden past the Rainbow Bridge. I hope she has found 3 special doggies that past that way from our home. Gabi was an extraordinary cat. I'd never seen on like her and only having had a cat in our house for a couple years-and a cat that doesn't like people, I can just feel the love you got from her. Just last night I got to spend time with this big fluffy cat, Hammy, a rescue that my son has. That cat is the sweetest cat. I don't know how our cat can be so mean. She got so mad at me trying to hold her the other day, she swiped her clawed paw across my face and knocked my glasses off and left me with 3 not so lovely scratches. I bet Gabi wouldn't hurt a fly. Unless she could catch it-then she'd let it go. LOL I know how much you miss her. Have you considered another pet? She sure was a cutie. Thanks for sharing your beautiful tribute to Gabi Lin.

This is especially poignant to me because Cousin Shane had to say goodbye to one of his cats today...Peanut. I've been sad all day about it, and I know how hard it is to lose a wonderful companion. RIP Gabi, and RIP Peanut.

We all loved Gabi through your writing but nobody could love her as much as you do. She was beautiful. You gave her a wonderful life in the time she had, you were blessed to have her and SHE was blessed to have you. Love never dies. Hugs.
i know she's having a HB at the RB with all the furrs there. my angel & sweet pee loved BD parties, so i'll bet they're making sure her BD is special!
