beautifully sung! what a voice he had. Silent Night was my mom's favorite Christmas carol. can you just imagine that night Jesus was born. We "romanticize" it but there was wonder there; imagine the angels amazed and glorifying God, imagine Mary giving birth in a manager and not knowing really what everything meant but trusting God, imagine Joseph wondering what the "heck" he had gotten into. imagine the shepherds seeing the angels and then going to see Jesus and still really wondering what it all meant. what a wonderful gift we were given :)

One year we had a German family in our Ward and they sang it for us in German. It was very special and wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
