Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful time at Bob's daughter & son-in-law's place.  Lots of good food, Bob's little 18 month old grandson was as cute as ever.  The kids loved their blankets and we had our own built in Santa.  They had invited a couple from their neighborhood and he came dressed as Santa, on their golf cart no less.  We were having a grand time  when all of a sudden...bam...the lights went out.  Apparently, a transformer in the area blew.  It was weird because you could see the beautiful outdoor lights all around but the houses on this one power grid were dark.  The power company came out and said it may be hours before it could be fixed, so we all set around like pioneers in the candle light, talking  and then everyone slowly drifted on home.  I need to get to bed so Santa will stop at my house...Linda

Glad you had a good time, A hope the power will be fixed quickly for Bobs daughter. Not much fun spending Christmas day in the dark. Jeannette.
