How About Those SEATTLE SEAHAWKS ?!?!?

First of all I had a nice weekend entry all ready earlier this afternoon and when I clicked on the "SAVE" button it went to an "error" page and was gone.  Anyway I had a great weekend, had lunch with friend Judy yesterday and today after church went to lunch with my friend Ginny.  After I got home today (in the sunshine) I ran the lawn mower over the front lawn to pick up leaves and other debris from all the wind we've had.  It looks better for now but will look messy again after the next windstorm.  Yes, it was sunny today, all day so far...after 34 days of rain.  I actually had to use my sun visor in the car and sun glasses  going to church this morning.

The Seattle Seahawks have just won their game with the Carolina Panthers 34-14. Now they will meet the winner of the other playoff game, the Pittsburgh Steelers, in Detroit, in two weeks for the SUPER BOWL.  As I've said before..I'm not a sports lover, but I did have the game on this afternoon (while ironing) and I'm happy for the local team.  The Panthers all look so sad....it's a long trip home when you loose a big and important game like this one.  I do feel sorry for them.     The fireworks are going off, the Seattle fans are going nuts.  The game was in Seattle so the stadium is packed with happy people.

I bet the T-shirt shops in Seattle are busy, busy right now gearing up to print those championship shirts, they'll probably be working non-stop all night tonight.

Well, it's back to the ironing board so until next time..................Linda (aka Sophia)

WTG Seahawks!  I was rooting for them to play the Steelers also.  Nice to have a day with some sunshine.  I talked to my son (Ft Lewis) and he said they actually had a little sun but the girls were to sick to do anything today.  :( Poor things.  They need their gramma.  LOL  And some chicken soup.
