Friday Morning-The Final January Totals...

......of rain that is.  This rain tally was at McChord Air Force Base, just south of where I live.  There was 12.62 inches of  rain in January, making it the rainiest January on record.  The old record was 12.4 inches in January 1953.  The wettest month ever recorded at McChord is November 1990 when 12.94 inches fell.  Now at Seattle-Tacoma airport, which is north of McChord AFB about 25-30 miles, they recorded only 11.65 inches of rain in January.

I knew you were all waiting on pins & needles for this information.  LOL    Anyway, I must give credit to the "The News Tribune" daily paper for these statistics.

Now I must get on with my day, I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday......Linda
