CLICK

I went to see the new Adam Sandler movie "Click."  I was prepared for kind of a goofy, typical Adam Sandler experience.  The only reason I even went is because...I like him.  It seems like he always plays the under dog, kind of a weird nerdy sort of fella. I was pleasantly surprised.  I won't ruin it by telling you about the movie but I will say there's a lesson in it for all of us.  And yes it has the goofy, weird parts but there is a moral to the story.  I hadn't checked the full cast list and was pleasantly surprised to see Henry Winkler (The Fonz) playing Adam's character's father and Julie Cavnar plays his mother.

The temperature has really climbed here today.  After the movie I ran a couple errands and came home to find the thermometer on my porch up to 82 degrees (this is in the shade by the way).  I wish I would have mowed that back lawn the other night when it was a little cooler.  But, I'm going to get into some cooler clothes and go out and plant those bedding plants.

I do have a busy two days ahead of me...lunch tomorrow with friend Barbara and Lynnette (she's going to be my cabin mate on the Alaska cruise in August.)  And then Sunday it's lunch with friends Barbara, the other Linda & Judy who's visiting here from Arizona. I'm glad the weather is going to be nice...we have a lot of waterfront restaurants in this area and they are not pleasant when it's raining.       Until later.......Linda
