YUK ! WHERE'S THE FAN ?

It's going to be another scorcher here today.  It's already over 70 degrees on my porch, with a humidity of 40% and it's barely 9am.  I'm going to get right to my ironing and get it done as quickly as possible.   http://www.komotv.com/weather/

Lynnette and I did have a wonderful time at lunch yesterday.  We are planning on doing it again in a couple weeks when Barbara can join us.   Today I meet the other gals for lunch and after talking to Barb last night...I think she may be able to join us (she may have to sit at another table, however) (just kidding).  I plan on taking pictures today.

Finally, I looked at my cell phone this morning and saw I missed a call from Lynnette at 6:30am.  I just called her back to see if everything was ok.  She is quite upset...one of her grand daughters spent the night with her and when she went up to her room this morning, the girl was gone.  She said she picked her up yesterday late afternoon, they went shopping, out to dinner, watched TV and had a great evening, laughing and talking.  They hugged and went off to separate rooms about 10:30pm.  Of course Lynnette had to call her daughter and son-in-law early this morning and give them this news.  The teenager was training to work in a coffee shop in her home town and was supposed to back there this morning at 10am.   Please stop and take a moment to say a prayer  regarding this situation.  Pray that she'll return safely to her family.  There are so many evil influences out there in the world today.  I was just reading about a 17 year old U.S. girl who flew off to Israel to marry someone she met on "My Space.Com."  I'm glad I'm not responsible for teenagers any more.      Thank you and I'll write more later.               Linda
