I WATCHED IT !

With everything crossed, and a prayer for their safety...I watch them blast into space.  You know...I really admire those people.  I don't even really like to fly in an airplane, can you imagine what it would feel like to be blasted up in the sky like that?  I don't think there's enough anti-anxiety medicine in the world for me to ever do such a thing.

It's a pleasant day here in the northwest.  I've got all the doors open and am cleaning and de-cluttering (right now I'm on a break).  I'm watching that guy on the Discovery Channel that's participates in some of the dirtiest jobs in the country.  Very interesting program, he really gets around.

My friend Bob went up to Sekiu (sea-que) fishing with a bunch of his retired plumber buddies last Thursday.  I think they are on their way back home today and if he shows up this afternoon, perhaps we'll go watch the fireworks somewhere or not.  The fireworks from the Space Needle in Seattle are always televised so that's a possibility too. He got a 20 pound king salmon and a 30 pound halibut.  I suppose he'll mess up my kitchen getting it prepared for the freezer but it will be good eating.    If you're not familiar with the location of Sekiu...look at a map of Washington, it's in the upper left hand corner between Neah Bay and Port Angeles. It's directly across the Strait of Juan de Fuca from Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Hope everyone is having a good 4th...Linda

I love every thing to do with space travel! I'd love to go up in a rocket! Bet you can't arrange that for when I come over! Lol! I love flying in planes and helicopters, I'm coming back as a duck in my next life so I can fly and bob about on water too! Happy 4th July! Jeannette xx

I can't even imagine flying in space, though I love to fly.  Glad you had a pleasant day.  It wasn't too terribly bad here either.
