Sunday July 2nd

I wanted to share a website with those of you out there in J-Land. I got this from former high school class mate, Chet & his wife.  Get out your Kleenex, turn up your sound  and check out;   http://www.mamarocks.com/why_i_love_her.htm

It's another beautiful day here in the Pacific Northwest.  This afternoon I'm taking my grand darlings (Harrison-15yrs and Meghanne-14 yrs on the 4th) to see "Let's Celebrate America" at a local church. They do such a fantastic job, with this and their "Singing Christmas Tree" and their Easter presentation.  This one is one of my favorites...with the old songs and tributes to the military.  They always play the songs for each branch of the service and ask those in the audience who served in the military to stand while their particular song is played.  You look around while each song is playing and see men, women , young and old standing ...it's truly touching.

After, the program, I'll take Harrison home and then Meghanne will come and spend the night with me and tomorrow we'll go for her birthday outing with grandma.  I can't say what it is yet, because it's a surprise for her but I think she'll really like it. I know I'm excitied about it.   Of course we'll go out to lunch too.  She's going to be 14 on the 4th of July...gosh it seems like only yesterday I got that phone call from Julie and her hubby that something was stirring and I needed to come and get little Harrison.  He was only 14 months old and not even really walking yet. It was a rainy 4th of July day....I went out and got him and the expectant couple went off to the hospital.  I can still hearing Julie saying "I don't want to have a baby on a holiday" as they were getting into the car. Actually Meghanne wasn't due for several weeks but she chose to make her appearance on that special day.

Well, friends...I must get off and get some bills paid and take them over to the Post Office so they'll go out tomorrow.   Have a wonderful Sunday,  Linda
