Well I did It ....

I called and talked to my travel agent gal (she'd asked that I call her when I got back and let her know how everything went for our group).   She was sorry to hear that I was sick but I told her I'd go again in a heartbeat.  Yes on the same cruise (there's still alot of stuff to see in those towns I visited ).  So she asked, "Ok then when do you think you'd like to go?"  I had already looked at the schedules for next summer and noticed that the price drops for the sailing from Aug 17th thru the 24th.  The Alaska cruises don't run much after Labor Day.    So anyway, she's looking into that week (Jeannette, I'll be home in time for us to go to the Puyallup Fair, which starts Sept 7, 2007)

Ok, now is there anybody else out there that wants to take this cruise.  Kids are more than welcome, they have non-stop activities for kids on those ships. It's a whole year from now, time to save your pennies.  Probably the first deposit will be due in about November 2006 with the balance due sometime in April 2007.  This is your chance....it will be leaving from Seattle and returning to Seattle.  They are very accommodating to folks traveling in and out of Seattle by air.  Let me know  if you're interested and I'll get you connected with Lori the travel agent.

Ohhhhh, I'm excited !!!!!!!!!!    Linda

The cruise sounds lovely but I'm going to Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Dubai so couldn't afford it next year. I do want to be there for the Puyallup fair though! I hoe you get some takers, it'd be fun! Jeannette xx

Sorry Linda, we are already booked on the land sea package on Aug. 14th. After our visit to Danali state park and seeing some of the land area, we will be catching the Radience of the Seas and sailing for 7 days down to Vancover.  Now that is a trip you should look at!  Hugs Lanny

PS: we sailed on the Radience through the Panama cannel and it's a very pretty ship. You'd love it.

Boy! I wish I could do that!  It's been a dream of mine for about 20 years . . . well, maybe next time.  Blessings, Penny http://journals.aol.com/firestormkids04/FromHeretoThere

that sounds like fun, Linda. Don't know where I'll be life-wise next year at that time, but it sure sounds like an adventure
