FALL IN THE NORTHWEST

Well, I stayed home from work today.  That bronchitis I came down with on the cruise has never really gone away and this last week the symptoms have gotten continuously worse.  Yesterday, I coughed so hard all day, it was diffcult to even work (I work in a call center, you know). I coughed all night, was up and down...got up this morning still coughing, plus my voice was almost totally gone when I greeted Gabi this morning. I started to get ready for work, put my lunch together, fixed my breakfast, took my shower (still coughing) and finally called the boss at 5:30am and told her I was sorry..I just couldn't make it in today.  I had an appointment with my doctor already, at 3:45pm today so just hung out at home until time to go to my appoinment.  I had my camera in my purse as I was going to take pictures on the way home from work today.  So after my doctor's appointment  and on the way to pick up a prescription I took the pictures I have posted in this entry.  I'm off tomorrow (Friday) but do have to work from 9a-3p on Saturday.  I have high hopes of  feeling  much better by then.  I hate to call in sick as we have been busy and when one member of the team is gone...it's all the more difficult for the others.  I know...I've worked many days by myself, lately, when others have been out.   I hope you enjoy the pictures.  I live in such a beautiful area..I love sharing it with you.   Until next time...Linda

Linda, I hope you are feeling better soon.  Take that extra day off if you need it.  That way you can feel better next week and won't have to take off for work.
BTW, your fall pics are spectacular.  I especially like the one with Mt. Ranier in the background!  How beautiful.

I'm sorry you still feel so bad, that pneumonia seems to be lingering or it's damaged your lungs maybe. I hope you feel better soon. I love those photos you took.  Mount Rainier looks so majestic sitting there with it's frosty topping, it's just backoning me to come see it!! I hope Gabi's appreciating the extra time she's getting with you while you're sick! Feel better soon! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

Hi Linda,  I hope by now the doctor has given you something to clear up the bronchitis completely.  Obviously you couldn`t go to work when you felt so unwell, how ever much you don`t want to let anyone down, I`m sure they`ll understand.  I love the photos, you live in a really pretty area and the autumn colours are really beginning to show.:o)

Love

I hope you get to feeling better. This is my first time visiting you, I believe. Thank you for visiting my journal. What a beautiful community you live in, and Mt Rainier in the background... an inspiring view, indeed. Going to work sick is not fun, but sometimes we don't have another option, do we? I know what that is like, too. I'm a teacher, and getting sick isn't usually a good enough reason to stay home. There is always three times more work to do when you get back if you decide to stay home and get even close to well. Hang in there! bea
