A BIG BALL OF FIRE IN THE SKY

It poured rain all morning.  I kept looking around at the front window of the office and the rain was pounding on the glass.  I sit with my back to the window and this afternoon about 2pm I noticed the room was brighter..I turned around, walked over to the window and looked out...........a big ball of fire was up in the sky.  Sunshine, heavenly sunshine.  Everybody perked up...it's amazing how a little sunshine after the rain can not only brighten the room but also one's mood.   More rain is on the way but at least this afternoon's respite will allow some of the rivers to go down and hopefully not do anymore damage.

Until next time........Linda

I sure do agree with you on that one. Sunshine is wonderful. Haven't seen it in a couple days and sure miss it.

Funny how I used to love the sunshine, but seems like any more, the sun limits what I can do when it comes to photography.

The sunshine does make all the difference to our moods! I always feel happy to wake up when the sun's shining but have to drag myself out of bed when it's dull out! I'm glad you had some sun to cheer you all up even though the rain is coming back. Jeannette xx

We take the sun for granted especially in the summer but how much it changes our lives when it emerges after rain or a very dark day. It really does give us a lift.

We were in the car driving and I remember we changed direction and all of a sudden I was BLINDED!  I wasn't prepared for SUN! It was AWESOME.  Though I wished I had my transition glasses instead of the regular ones on.  I have the sun peaking through my window and hitting the back of my neck right now - delightful!
