Thursday Evening

I made it to work ok this morning, however very slowly.  The roads that were clear yesterday when I came home from work, were compact snow and ice on my drive into work this morning.  It really came down during the night and then with the temperatures dropping like they did it froze almost instantly.  Some of the roads were only slightly clear tonight on the drive home because even tho the sun came out, it didn't warm up.  I had to walk over to the hospital about noon and with the wind blowing and the cold temps...it was colder than a well diggers belt buckle out there.  Brrrrrrrrr

It seemed like today was 16 hours long.  The health system has several big seminars coming this month, so the phone rang non stop all day, with people wanting to register for any and all of them.  I was even late getting out of there this evening.  Oh well...now I'm off until Monday.  So I can relax and just putter around the house all weekend.  Unless the road conditions change, I'm only going up the street to get my hair cut and maybe a movie on my days off.

I've included more snow pictures that I took today.  Until next time........Linda

It looks so cold Linda, I'm just thankful we don't get snow often down here in the south of England. I admit it does look pretty but I can't bear to walk in it, I'd have to hibernate if I lived there! I hope you enjoy your weekend! Jeannette xx

The pictures are absolutely beautiful Linda. You are probably sick of it but I would give anything for just a little of that snow instead of these endless gloomy days and these very high winds. Snow is such a rareity for us these days.
