ONLY IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

Only in the Pacific Northwest can the weather change from moment to moment.  The four pictures I've posted were all taken within 30 minutes of each other. It's unreal.  And now as I'm writing this....the sun is shining brightly once again and the snow that covered the road has melted but my lawn is still a little white.

Well, tomorrow is my 1 month anniversary of being retired.  I don't feel I've accomplished all that much but I did get all the insurance stuff taken care of and I feel more rested.  Today is the last day my medical insurance from the hospital is in effect so after today....it's Medicare and the Humana supplement.  And I must get busy around here and do some of the things I planned to do in the house.  Gabi seems to think since I'm home, she needs to sit on my lap all day...

It's "hump day" today, hope you've all had a good week so far.  Only two more days until the weekend.   Take care....until next time,  Linda

I hope the snow doesn't set in again Linda! Well, you were entitled to have a month of not doing much for the start of your retirement! Once the weather warms up I'm sure you'll be busier! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

I got caught out in the snow, with Capri jeans and a t-shirt, and a light sweat shirt!  "Bout froze before I got home!  It felt like it was getting colder last night, and it "smelled like snow" but it has been so warm that I didn't really expect it.  I don't watch the news much, so I was not prepared!  Sure is pretty, though!  Jae

One month already of retirement.  Doesn't it seem like just yesterday?  Sounds like Gabi is really enjoying having you home more.  Hope Spring comes soon!

I can remember when we lived in Calgary in the foothills of the great Rockies how the weather in the winter would change almost instantly with the help of the Chinook's that would roll in over the mountains.  It was amazing to me how quickly the weather and temps could change!  I'm glad you are enjoying your retirement!
