Just a friendly reminder to set your clocks ahead one hour tonight when you go to bed. Although, I understand there's one area of our country that has to move their clocks two hours ahead as they are being moved into another time zone. I can't find that story right now so I'm sorry I can't provide a link to it. On the other hand, Arizona is exempt from DST. I guess all that sun shine allows the daylight hours to last longer without the hassle of changing their clocks twice a year.
It's not just here is the United States....DST happens all over the world. For instance on March 25th it ends in Australia, as they are just coming out of their winter season.
Also, remember to put those new batteries in your smoke detectors. They are very cheap compared to the cost of not having a working smoke detector in case of a fire.
Those of us who are clock freaks have a long evening ahead of us. I have at least 10 clocks to change including 2 clock radios, the clock on the coffee maker, the clock in my car and a couple non-electric clocks I keep running in case the power goes out. Actually, I'll probably wait until Sunday morning and make my rounds then.
Have a wonderful Saturday evening........Linda
P.S. I found a really cute "Time" website earlier today. Check out;
