What A Surprise

I was just ready to turn the TV off at 10pm tonight and much to my surprise...the 10 o'clock program came on and it was "Northern Exposure."  The first episode, I believe...I was so excited, I put a bag of popcorn in the microwave and settled back to watch it.   After it was over I sent an email to KOMO TV in Seattle and thanked them for showing the program and asked if this will be a regular Thursday night feature.

I think those of us who live in Washington especially liked that program because it was filmed in our own Roslyn, WA  just a couple hours across Snoqualmie Pass from the Seattle area.  There was even a scene in the famous Brick Tavern.

That's all for now....     Linda

It's nice when you can recognise places on TV or films. I used live in a house divided up into separate flats. They filmed an episode of an English TV series in Brighton and used the house I was living in as a set, trouble was all the house occupants were trapped in their flats all day as we'd been asked not to walk around while filming was going on! Hi Linda, yes my mom used to just love that show.  She has always wanted to move to the Seattle area so that show reminded her of that lovely state.  I have always wanted to visit too and would love to have a claim of land out there for a farm by the sea if there was any land left.  Rob and I heard they still take claims for some of the wild parts of open land.  We thought about trying to make a go of a farm and preserves for keeping up with restoring land to its natural beauty.  I have only seen one episode of the show but have always wanted to see it.  I just don't get any tv time much with three kids. Hugs,
Lisa

I never watched it when it was on over here. I think it must have clashed with something else.

I KNOW!!!  At first I thought it was a remake.  But, nope.  Did you get an answer about whether it will continue showing?  I don't think I ever saw the first episode the first time around!  I have to admit, I fell asleep and didn't see the end, so I guess I STILL haven't seen the first episode!  LOL! I always do that (fall asleep).  I can't stay up until 11!  Jae
