Russell Watson

I just have one of his CD's....his tenor voice is so beautiful.  I had read somewhere that he was operated on for a brain tumor.   Does anyone over in the U.K. have any updated information on this talented young man?

He certainly is talented and what a shame it would be if this voice is silenced.    His version of "You Raise Me Up" gives me goose bumps.

On a blustery day like we're having today, music like his brightens up my home.   Linda

The latest news we have is that he has been discharged from hospital.  He has regained the power of speech and his sight.  However, he has been told it will take him many months to recover and because they had to cut into the roof of his mouth during surgery, they do not know if his voice will be affected.  Also his type of tumour often regrows and much more agressively.  He needs all our prayers

Russell Watson does have a wonderful voice, I have three of his CD's. He had a benign brain tumour a year ago which was removed. This is a regrowth of that so hopefully they'll be able to get rid of it this time and we'll have to pray it doesn't return. Jeannette xx

He is a great talent and as some of the other commentors have said, is in great need of our prayers.
