What Is That White Stuff Falling From The Sky?

It started shortly after 12 noon.  I was meeting friends for lunch and there was just a flake here ad there.  My friend Susan called from Olympia (about 30 miles south of me) earlier and said it was coming down at her house around 11am.   While we were at lunch is was falling really heavy and the wind was blowing too.  Now three hours later, my lawn is still white but there's nothing falling from the sky.  They said we would get snow this weekend and for once they were right.  Next will be the high winds they're predicting Sunday night and Monday.  Hopefully, the snow will stay away during that time because snow and high winds equal, a blizzard.

I've had my card table set up here in the living room for a few days, using it to work on my Christmas cards.  After I came home from lunch today, I came out in the living room to sit down and work on the cards and it seems an intruder was sitting at my work area.  So once this intruder moves on....I'll continue. Meanwhile, I'll get a fire going in the wood stove.  And then open the 3 boxes of Avon that were delivered this morning.   LOL

Have a good Saturday..........Linda

Glad to hear that the snow didn't cancel your lunch. We're having a cool and drizzly weekend. Son & hubby got the Christmas lights up before the weather turned wet, thank goodness. Hope you don't get a blizzard. I hear the midwest is suppose to get up to 16"!!
Take care and stay warm.

We're getting rain here tomorrow, but I've read so many journals today where they're getting snow.  I hope you have a pretty snowfall and no high winds.
