News Year's Fireworks off the Space Needle in Seattle

News Year's Fireworks from the Space Needle

I wasn't going to stay up for this but it was so noisy in my neighborhood, I decided to get up and watch it, then decided to record it off the TV.  I don't think they showed up on the web cam, all I saw were the light of the city and the light decorating the Needle for the holidays.

They had a little glitch in their show.  Apparently, the computer program didn't work correctly, so the fireworks started, then stopped, then started again....It was supposed to last about 8 minutes, I'm not sure if it did but I got less than 2 minutes of it recorded.  But at least you can see how beautiful it is.  It's cold and clear here tonight, so the thousands of people on the ground watching it, got a good show this year.

Pardon, the heavy breathing (you can turn your sound down).  I was trying so hard not to move, that I didn't concentrate on "quiet breathing."   LOL

Now I'm going back to bed....Happy 2008 everyone !!!

I could only get a few seconds to play on the video. Grrrr.  I'll try again later.  What I did see looked fantastic.
Have a great day.

Linda, you owe me big. I set my alarm for 4 AM EST and sat for two hours watching the views from the Space Needle. Didn't see much for sure. Enjoyed the TV show for a minute I thought you were there live.
Have a great New Year, Bill
