News From My Doctor ~ Not Good

They just called me.  It's a meniscus tear in my right knee.  DRAT !!!  The gal said that they would work on getting an authorization for me to see an Orthopedic Surgeon.  I need to get back to Curves and out working on my yard.  I feel like a big slug having to "take it easy."

Well, at least I can still drive and get around the grocery store.  Although shopping at Wal Mart yesterday really did me in.   Today I'm taking my grand daughter out to the Puyallup Fair grounds to drop off her entries for the Spring Fair that runs April 17-20.  Other than that, I don't do much.

My son said he'd come and mow the lawn but I didn't see his face on the non-rainy days and now today it's raining and meanwhile the grass is getting longer.

Well, hopefully this knee will magically heal and I'll be dancing jigs within a couple months.        Sad Linda

Well, at least now you know what you are dealing with.  I understand knee problems...I've had double knee replacements and it's no fun, believe me.  Good luck Sweetie.

Sorry to hear you've got a torn meniscus, Linda - sounds painful. Better await advice from the orthopods before taking on too much.

Well, you're certainly entitled to feel rotten about this news, and I'm sure it's painful getting around.  I'd say just do what you can, don't worry about what you can't, it's not your fault.  CATHY

Oh that isn't good news.  I'm sorry to hear that and hopefully it will be taken care of soon and you can start mending sooner.

As for the lawn, Sonny was going to mow today because they said it was supposed to be nice out and we had rain! Ugh.  Of course it cleared up when he had to go to work.

Very sorry to hear about your knee, Linda.  Hopefully, it can be repaired quickly and you can get back on your feet soon.  Maybe giving your son a wee reminder might jog his memory that the grass will soon need a goat, lol.  Take care, rest and keep off your leg as much as possible.

So sorry to hear this news about your knee Linda.  Saying a little prayer for you that it does heal on it's own and that you won't need surgery.  Praying also that your son will get over there and mow your lawn! lol
Love,
Marie

What a shame to read about your knee Linda.  I can imagine how painful that must be when putting your weight on it.
I hope you soon get some relief from the pain.  Poor you!
Where is that boy of yours for cutting the grass?   Tell him I will send over a few sheep from the English Lakes to do it for you.   Lol!
Take care and keep your chin up as well as your leg.
Hugs

I didn`t realise your knee was this bad Linda,  I hope you won`t need surgery to repair it. I hate it when I`m required to `take things easy`, I hate resting at the best of times. Take care.
