Phone Call, Etc.

I got a phone call from my doctor's office today that I have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on May 13th at 9:15am  (don't they know I'm retired? )

I'll have to set the alarm the night before.  I have the MRI films here so, all I need is to roll out of bed, get ready and drive there for the verdict. I hope my entire summer is not messed up by this.

*************************************************

A very beautiful day here in the Pacific Northwest, up to 60 degrees....one of those days that makes me love the fact that I live here.   Mr Weatherman says it might get to 70 degrees this weekend.

*************************************************

I've had my front door and the slider open all afternoon.  I can hear the tinkle of my wind chimes and feel a breeze thru the house.  Gabi is planted at the front door lest any neighborhood cats, stray up on the porch.

*************************************************

I noticed that my lilac trees have buds on them....the Wysteria is blooming as is the Japanese Quince.   And of course the daffodils are nodding their yellow heads and some of my tulips are blooming...others are about ready to bloom.

*************************************************

My friend Judy sent me some pictures of Peyton, including one of me holding her when I visited there a couple weeks back. She's such a little cutie.

**************************************************

Have a wonderful weekend......Linda

Oh she is adorable!  Looking at that picture you can't help but smile!   I wanted to add to that I love your hair.  It suits you perfectly.  Good luck on your doctors apt!  I know it sure does suck to have to be there that early!
I want your weather!  I't's snowing here like cats and dogs!  We already got about 3 inches and it's still coming down.  The trees look gorgeous again tho :) that's the only good part about it!  We just got home and the roads are terrible... 25MPH tops!

Great pictures of your flowers and I love your hair also.  Don't worry so much about your knee, it will probably be fixed and you'll be all ready for summer, remember summer doesn't really start till after July 4th here.  Have a good weekend, Joni

Great pictures Linda.  That Peyton is a real cutie!  I am praying that all goes well with your orthopedic surgeon.  I love lilacs in the springtime.  They're so beautiful and smell so nice!

It is even BETTER today, weather-wise!  I was out on the patio, yesterday, hosing it off and remembering last summer and how nice it was to be outside with the dogs for hours...
I sure hope your summer is not ruined, either!  That would be so horrible, especially because of how much time you spend running around and enjoying the sunshine.  Not to mention the fact that you are now free to "play" everyday, if you so choose...
Good luck with that appointment!

9.15am! Is there two 9.15's in a day?! I'm familiar with the evening one, lol! I hope they can sort your knee out as they're getting you up in the middle of the night to see you! Enjoy the weather, it sounds ideal! It's cold and windy here. Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

Wishing you all the best with your appointment.  Little Peyton is just a sweet little dollbaby!  How nice to be able to have the slider open ~ we haven't had too many opportunities for that yet.
