News Update

The local programming was just interrupted with the news that 76 year old Senator Ted (Edward) Kennedy, who has been in the hospital for several days after suffering a seizure...has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. He remains hospitalized in Boston, Massachusetts.

Thanks for the update.  The man has outlived them all for some reason.

I read about that when I logged onto AOL earlier.  How sad.  One of my dear friends died of brain cancer that was found after she had seizures.  She lived 9 years which is some kind of record.  She was really young when she was diagnosed.  She told her doctors she had to live to see her youngest daughter graduate from high school.  She passed away 2 weeks before Ramona graduated.  The good news, Katie knew her girls were going to be OK and they are doing great 7 years later.

I just hope that the doctors can treat him without him having to lose cognitive abilities and memory.  That would be really sad for someone as bright and energetic as he is.

I will be praying for him and his family.
Love, Kathy

I had not heard this news, thank you for posting it.  I know alot of people have negative feelings towards him and the Kennedy's in general but I feel for him and his family.  Regardless of what he did or didn't do in the past it is sad to see this happen to him.  I imagine the prognosis is not good with his age.
